The reel itself plays like a dream with modern additions like Autoplay and Quickspin. Everything else stays very close to the classic game experience.
The soundtrack hardly deserves a mention. There is no music at all during the base game except when hitting a winning payline. Even then it is only a short jingle which gets a little more extravagant when getting a bigger win.
The symbols in Mega Burning Wins: 27 Ways are simple but modern, with the different fruits drawn to look as realistic as possible. The other symbols are similarly colourful and based on the very popular symbols of old slots.

The game has a Medium Volatility which stayed close to my experience. The fact it uses 27 ways to win means that anytime the same symbols are on consecutive reels from left to right it will count as a win. The fact Wilds also count as Scatters means that the Bonus Wheel feature triggered relatively often as well.
With a slot that stays as close to the original concept as this one does, you can’t expect too many features. Still, Mega Burning Wins: 27 Ways does spice up the game a little bit:
I found these features to be interesting enough to make the game stay close to its source but changing it up just enough to keep it appealing. There are plenty of other fruit machines like this, and the addition of a Bonus Wheel helps differentiate it a tiny bit.
Obviously this slot is meant for players who aren’t really looking for different, but I’m sure that most players will appreciate the Bonus Wheel as it grants an immediate and quite substantial coin win when it hits. I found myself playing the game mostly to get to the Bonus Wheel as the base gameplay didn’t appeal to me as much.

It offers the same basic experience that we’ve come to expect from fruit machines but with enough variation to keep it somewhat interesting. Some old elements of classic slots I don’t like have been removed, such as the single payline and the occurrence of reels not lining up to the payline.
I usually get bored quite quickly when playing these type of slot machines which is why I won’t say I loved it. Nonetheless, I could tell it easily delivered on what it set out to deliver, giving players an exciting but relaxing game experience without having to learn an entire library of features.
If you’re a fan of Mega Burning Wins: 27 Ways I would also recommend Burning Wins which is in many ways the predecessor of this slot. It has even fewer features but keeps the playability high.
Finally, I should mention that the game lets you pick a bet between $0.10 and $100 per spin. A maximum win of 258x your bet seems laughably low but I found that the regular Bonus Wheel would keep things interesting enough.
