Speed Cash is a slot game that can make you go from pennies to winning the progressive jackpot in a matter of seconds. The game is a race against a high volatility engine that runs on a classical layout of three reels and a single payline.
I played Speed Cash a few times and found a couple of nice things to say about it. For starters, there are only four symbols on the paytable but the number of winning combinations is more than double. One of these symbols is Wild and not coincidentally, it is the most valuable symbol on the paytable.
As it is typical for one-payline slot games, you need three matching symbols to win a prize, but the Wild can land you a win in combination with any one or two additional symbols. And I believe these are all the highlights of Speed Cash.
The game isn’t overly entertaining to play. It may have some appeal to players who’ve enjoyed classical slot machines in land casinos and those who like to try their hand at the progressive jackpot.
I guess the main takeaway from Speed Cash is that the winning combinations are lucrative as the values range between 2x and 1,600x your bet.
There isn’t really much to say about the graphics. The game is as simple as a can of beans. The two focal points are the reel set and the paytable, both of which are a part of the main interface.
You aren’t going to get much in terms of visual stimulus because none of the symbols are animated. To make things even soggier for the gameplay, Speed Cash doesn’t have an audio track.
This leaves you with a bare-bone classical slot game that can fit on the floor of any land casino. As such, I am sure there are many players who can find an appreciation for its simple gameplay.
Since there aren’t any extras, I’ll focus on the Wild symbol. The Wild can substitute for any of the symbols, but it can also form a winning outcome in combination with any one and any two matching symbols.
In my experience, the Wild doesn’t shy away from landing on the reels. I have never seen two Wilds on the reel set as part of the same spin, but the odds for it are in the works, so Speed Cash may as well surprise you.
Progressive Jackpot
The Wild can win you the main prize, whose rolling amount depends on how recently it was seeded from the starting point and on how often the game is selected by the players out there.
At any rate, the progressive prize can be won by landing three red cars on the single payline. The only caveat is that you have to play the game with three coins which makes for the most expensive bet.
Setting up for the gameplay is rather easy. The fixed bet (Coin Value) is 25p per spin and there are two additional coin levels – 50p and 75p per spin.
Each coin level has a corresponding column of prizes on the paytable. This is easy to follow as the amounts are expressed as multipliers by the total bet.
The paytable structure is as follows, considering the number of coins:
Put the graphic design aside and you have a concept that is quite rare for an online slot. A handful of symbols can make more than 10 different winning combinations and the payouts are rather excellent.
I like the fact that none of the winning combinations pays below your bet – in fact, they pay at least twice that amount. On the other hand, this is a high volatility game so there ought to be many winless spins.
At 75p per spin to qualify for the main prize, Speed Cash is one of the least-expensive progressive jackpot slots. The single payline and the (lack of) graphic design makes it easy to avoid, so it’s best to bring your own conclusion.
