The mysterious Madame Ink welcomes you to her parlour in this slot featuring 5-reels, 3-rows and 243 ways to win. If you’re itching to either get a new tattoo or add to your collection this slot might just tip you over the edge. Its beautiful designs will remind you why you want to get yourself inked in the first place.

Every design in this slot exudes lusciousness. The soundtrack complements the designs perfectly with its fusion of Chinese notes. Then there are the FX which elevate this slot to something really special. Everything from the whoosh you hear with every spin to the bonus round scatters is designed to create the best user experience.

There are mythical oriental creatures waiting around every corner. There’s tipping ink bottles to create expanding wilds. And Madame Ink herself might make an appearance to create some fascinating wins.

There are no paylines here and instead the game uses the 243 ways to win. To do this, you need 3 or more adjacent tiles from left to right. Reel position doesn’t come into play and the more tiles in a row the more ways you can win.

Madame Ink slot win combination

With the theme surrounding the beautiful art of tattoos, it goes without saying that each tile has been crafted impeccably.

The gorgeous symbols, from highest-paying to the lowest consist of:

  • The Serpent in the form of an S is the Scatter symbol. Three or more of these will trigger the bonus round.
  • The Wild Ink Bottle substitutes for all tiles bar the scatter and can randomly expand to fill the whole reel.
  • 5x The Red Dragon will pay 5x the stake.
  • 5x The Yellow Tiger will pay 3x the stake.
  • 5x The Blue Oni will pay 2x the stake.
  • 5x The Purple Crane will pay 2x the stake.

The lower-paying symbols are still afforded a stunning, intricate design. These take the shape of card suits. The spade and the heart pay 0.8x of the stake and the club and diamond pay 0.6x of the stake with 5-of-a-kind on different reels.

Madame Ink slot wild ink feature

As with many Play’n GO slots, before you start the game there’s a little intro which sums up some of the most important features of the game.

  • The Bonus Round Three or more scatter tiles anywhere on the reels will trigger the bonus round. This is your chance to tweak the volatility of the slot by choosing 12, 6, or 3 spins with different features activated.
    • 12 spins with the Wild Ink feature activated.
    • 6 spins with Madame Ink activated on the middle reel.
    • 3 spins with both Madame Ink and the Wild Ink features activated.
  • Madame’s Mystery Reel

During gameplay, you might be lucky enough to be visited by Madame Ink herself. This is totally random (unless you’re in the bonus round), but it brings with it some nice wins. When Madame Ink graces the middle reel she brings with her some mystery symbols which land in other positions. She then transforms into a stack of 3 high-paying symbols and also transforms the mystery symbols.

  • Wild Ink

The dragon-headed ink bottle is the wild tile and can substitute for all symbols except the scatter. At any time, the ink bottle can tip itself and spill over, turning all symbols on the reel to wilds. The wilds will take on the winning value of the highest-paying symbol.

With such a beautiful design I would definitely suggest giving Madame Ink a go. The slot is marked as having medium volatility and this was certainly my experience with it.

Once you enter the bonus round it is also up to you to choose the volatility. Go with the 3 spins which activate Madame’s Mystery Reel and the Wild Ink and you may even hit the 5,000x payout this game is capable of. Of course, with just 3 spins you may end up with a lot less if the tiles don’t behave themselves.

Play’n GO features tend to trigger quite frequently although most payouts seem to hover around the 5x-10x range. From my experience, I did manage to get up to 360x my stake during one of Madame Ink’s random appearances which coincided with 2 wild inks.

There is a lot of fun to be had for the casual player here but I would also recommend it to any hardcore player out there wanting a bit of a change.
