Go deep into the dense vegetation as you search for treasure with Jungle Jim El Dorado. Will you be able to find the fabled City of Gold deep inside the jungle? There’s only one way to find out.
Partner up with Jim and track across this 5-reel, 3-row slot with 25 paylines and cascading tiles. Whenever a win is registered, tiles disappear and new tiles fall into their place. When this happens the multiplier bar on top of the reel increases by x1 (up to x5) creating a more valuable win.
In this slot, you will come face to face with the most interesting of artefacts and the most precious of gems. El Dorado might just be around the corner if you manage to land the 3 enigmatic scatters.
The high paying symbols take the form of mysterious treasures while low-paying symbols take the form of precious stones.
The symbols, from highest to the lowest consist of:
Landing the three scatter tiles in any position in reels 1, 2 and 3 will trigger the bonus round. During the bonus round the multiplier tiers on top of the reels are changed into x3 multipliers. This means that with every avalanche the wins are multiplied first by x3, then x6, x9, x12 and finally by x15.
Since it was released in 2016, this slot is no spring chicken and you can feel its age playing in 2021. However, many of the other cascading games released today (say the new Gonzo Megaways), still offer the same feel of this game.
Having said that, the game is slow and I had quite a bit of trouble loading it (even if I used different casinos to be sure). It feels like Microgaming have forgotten all about it and have failed to implement some fixes which would help it load faster.
Having just one feature does mean the game gets boring after a good few rounds. Getting into the bonus round is quite hard. Unfortunately, that’s where all the excitement lies. I only managed this once and whilst I was getting a few wins I never managed to get anywhere near the x15 multiplier. In the end, I left the bonus round with a disappointing win of 20x.
This game might still have a few fans around but it’s fair to say there are better, faster, more modern-looking slots out there boasting a better engine, more features and more excitement.
